Rhimon Bose

Rhimon Bose

Rhimon Bose was introduced to lens-based storytelling at a young age by his parents. After being diagnosed with learning differences (Dyslexia and ADHD), he discovered photography as a powerful means of expression. Graduated with a degree in Fashion Photography from the University for the Creative Arts in the UK. While studying fashion photography, he explored reconstruction and staged photography, experimenting with symbolism and iconography. Rhimon was influenced by surrealist and hyperrealist approaches to image-making. His artistic journey led him to focus on the intersection of art and fashion. His art interrogates the dynamics of ‘control’, which derives from the unseen dissonance between acceptance and acknowledgement; it seeks to recognise the various relationships with ‘control’. Rhimon’s practice examines situations that present diverse dynamics of control, highlighting that control is always held by someone outside oneself. Coexistence is one way to negotiate, while reclaiming control is another.

Rhimon’s first solo exhibition, ‘Handbreak’, was exhibited at India International Centre in September, 2025. His image series ‘I am disLecsiC’ (2023-24) was exhibited at Serendipity Arts Festival, Goa in December 2025.
